Create one-of-kind independently designed t-shirts, patches, and posters in this week long workshop focused on screen and block printing! The week will start with leaning silkscreen by printing with paper and tape stencils onto paper posters. For part of the day, each student will draw their own t-shirt design and learn basic computer skills to transform their images for optimal printing. Stamping and stenciling provide skills to finish the week with photo-emulsion coated silk screens used to print t-shirts and specialized iron on patches! Each student will go home with new skills and new custom designed items.
*Pre-College Workshops begin Monday morning at 9am, and then 10am for each day after. Each morning, Tues-Fri, 9am-10am is designed as an optional "Open Studio" time for students to work on their projects. The Teaching Instructor will be present to prep and set up and available for guidance and questions. The workshop will then formally begin at 10am Tues-Friday.
